Videos & Multimedia

As a reporter at the South Florida Sun Sentinel I shot, edited, and produced photos, videos, and multimedia packages to tell stories in new and visually engaging ways.

Sometimes, I shot video on the fly, post it to social media, and then embedded those videos into articles:

- Protesters march from Bubier Park to Broward County Jail in first day of nationwide prison strike
- Labor and civil rights activist Dolores Huerta urges students to organize, get involved and vote
- Teen walks out of hospital weeks after lacrosse accident leaves him paralyzed

Other times I got video from other sources and I embedded those into stories other video editors would turn them into longer videos:

- Deputy Who Forced Handcuffed Teen Against Wall has History of Using Force
- Police Seek Suspect in Sexual Battery at Spa
- Small Plane Crashes Near Publix, Killing Pilot in Training

Some videos teased stories coming later that day or week:

- Hundreds of people show up to the grand opening of the Blanche Ely Educational Museum in Pompano Beach this morning
- Leonard ‘Len’ Cline, 72, will ride his bicycle 100 miles around Palm Beach County on Saturday to raise money for the American Cancer Society
- Young adults with physical or developmental challenges take their first swimming lesson at the YMCA in Boynton Beach

Other times, I produced entire multimedia packages with photos, videos, and a brief article:
